EU Notifications for Business Trips & Postings.

We ensure the correct and timely registration of your companies and employees in accordance with the EU Posting of Workers Directive, preventing international assignments in Europe from failing due to notification obligations, deadlines, or national portals.

Check EU notification requirements for postings

Before an assignment abroad, we check whether an EU notification is required. Key factors are the destination country, activity, duration of assignment, industry, and whether the assignment falls under the Posting of Workers Directive.

Register companies in the EU notification portal

Before the first notification, many countries require registration in the national notification portal. We set up the necessary access and prepare your company for future posting notifications.

Submit EU posting notifications correctly

We prepare and submit your posting notification via the competent portal of the destination country – on time, completely, and in compliance with local requirements.

Amendment notification for postings

If the duration of assignment, place of work, employees, or contact persons change, an amendment notification may be required. We update existing notifications on time in the respective portal.

Ensure posting compliance in the destination country and manage it centrally on one platform

EU notifications are just one part of your obligations. We provide information on local requirements such as minimum wage, working hours, occupational safety, documentation duties, contact persons, and country-specific proof.

EU Notifications. Timely submitted, clearly documented

Postings within Europe are rarely just a single form. Depending on the destination country, different notification portals, deadlines, languages, minimum wage requirements, working time regulations, and documentation obligations apply. visumPOINT checks whether an EU notification is required, prepares the notification, and handles its submission to the respective national portal. This ensures that postings remain legally compliant and clearly documented – even if the assignment duration, work location, or employees change at short notice.

Check Assignment

You provide the destination country, duration of assignment, activity, and industry. We check whether an EU notification is required and what local regulations apply.

Clarify Portal & Registration

We check which national notification portal is responsible and whether company registration or government access is required.

Prepare Notification

We prepare the required information, check deadlines, mandatory fields, and country-specific requirements such as contact person, minimum wage, or working time records.

Submit EU Notification

We submit the posting notification on time via the responsible portal and handle coordination with the relevant authorities.

Document Evidence

The submitted notification and relevant evidence remain clearly documented – for HR, internal audits, and potential inspections in the destination country.

Senfina Portal.

Centrally manage all EU notifications – one portal for registration, notification, documentation, and status overview in 31 countries.

31 countries. Only one portal.

Senfina centralizes EU reporting for business trips and assignments in one system. Companies manage employees, assignment countries, status, deadlines, and documents via a single interface – instead of switching between national portals, forms, and email processes.

No portal switching. No form chaos.

Senfina consolidates country requirements, registrations, reports, and follow-up processes into one system. Companies work with a central interface, while country-specific requirements are structured and mapped in the background.

Reporting status, deadlines, and documents always in view.

All EU reports, proofs, and relevant documents are managed centrally. This allows HR, Travel Management, and Global Mobility to maintain an overview of ongoing, planned, and completed assignments.

Get started faster, without lengthy portal registration.

Quick start, structured user roles, and a central setup for all relevant countries. Senfina thus reduces administrative effort during setup and enables a structured start to EU reporting processes – without setting up each country individually.

Frequently Asked Questions.

When do I need to submit a posting notification?

A posting notification depends on the duration and type of activity in the host country. Generally, it is always necessary when a cross-border service is provided. In other cases, country-specific regulations apply.

Is one EU notification sufficient for multiple places of assignment?

As a rule, an EU notification must be provided for each place of assignment. However, in a few countries, you can specify multiple places of assignment with the same contractual partner, for example, Austria.

What is the difference between an A1 certificate and an EU posting notification?

The A1 certificate confirms that an employee remains socially insured in Germany during an assignment abroad. The posting notification, on the other hand, informs the authorities in the destination country about the work assignment. In this case, for example, compliance with working hours, remuneration, and working conditions is demonstrated.

How far in advance must an EU notification be submitted?

As a rule, an EU notification must be submitted at least one day before the start of work. The exception is Switzerland, where it must be at least 8 days before the start of work.

How is an inspection carried out and what needs to be considered?

An inspection can take place in various ways. It can occur at the border or directly at the foreign place of assignment. However, checks can also happen retrospectively, where additional documents may be requested, such as pay slips, time sheets, translated contracts, etc.

What happens if there are changes to the trip or if the trip is cancelled?

Any changes must be reported to the authorities immediately. If a trip is cancelled, this must be reported to the authorities before the original start of work.

EU Notifications Examples.

Business Trips

Even short assignments in other EU countries can be subject to notification – especially when work, assembly, consulting, or service is performed on-site.

Postings

Anyone who temporarily posts employees to another EU or EEA country must often report the assignment before work begins.

Installation Assignments

Installations, maintenance, commissioning, or technical service assignments trigger special notification and documentation requirements in many countries.

Notification Portals

Each country uses its own portals, deadlines, and forms – often in the local language and with varying requirements.

Change Notifications

If the duration of deployment, work location, employees, or contact persons change, an update to the EU notification may be required.

Local Requirements

Minimum wage, working hours, occupational safety, and documentation requirements differ significantly depending on the destination country and industry.

Contact Person

Many countries require a contact person or local representative who can be contacted by authorities and provide documents.

Inspections & Penalties

Missing or incorrect EU notifications can lead to fines, work stoppages, or project risks during inspections.
