No, visumPOINT requests information and documents solely for the purpose of processing them to fulfill the assignment, i.e., for preparing and submitting applications to authorities and other institutions. Generally, an incomplete application automatically leads to rejection or a delay in the process. Therefore, for a smooth process, we always ask for complete information.
Naturally, the process can be expedited by promptly providing all required documents and information. Beyond that, there are few opportunities to shorten waiting times for appointments and administrative processes. Some countries offer "Expedited Services" or "Premium Processing" for certain process steps for an additional fee, or even "Emergency Appointments" – but these are rather the exception. To obtain an Emergency Appointment, compelling reasons for urgency must be presented. Please note that visumPOINT only offers such process accelerations if they are officially provided. We naturally reject any acceleration procedures based on bribery.
Yes and no. For all administrative procedures where the applicant does not need to appear in person, we offer either a "Desktop Service" or "accompanied" service. Depending on the authority and the application to be submitted, these procedures can be handled with accompaniment or even by a representative. However, some authorities insist on a personal application, where no accompanying person is allowed (e.g., visa applications for the USA or an EU country).
